For a hearty, umami-rich ramen that is just as quick to prepare but more substantial than most instant ramen, try Marutai’s sesame and soy sauce ramen. Known as ‘Bo Ramen’, or stick ramen, in Japanese, this style of dried ramen consists of two bundles of straight, stick-like, non-fried ramen noodles, plus separate sachets of soup stock (flavoured in this case with soy sauce, roasted sesame seeds, pork, and other seasonings) and seasoning oil. Perfect for preparing at home, all you will need to add to this ramen are your favourite ramen toppings.

How to use
• Add one bundle of ramen noodles to 450ml water in a pan.
• Cook for approx. 3 minutes, then add one sachet each of the soup and seasoning oil.
• Pour into a bowl and garnish with your favourite meat, protein, and vegetable toppings.
